During the ad creation process please be prepared to include the following details:

  • Category for your auction/event/sale/service
  • Title for your auction/event/sale/service
  • Description and other necessary details
  • Payment* terms in description.
  • Date* of auction/event/sale.
  • Bid Access* - e.g. online, live, hybrid.
  • Seller Type* - e.g. auctioneer, person...
  • Location of event/auction/sale/service area.
  • Images - at least one image is recommended.
  • Feature Listing* on Auction Calendar, Home Page and Category

*Some options are not applicable for Service Guide category. Feature Listing is a paid option.

All advertising fees are pre-paid prior to publishing. To better accomodate bulk listings there is a balance option available.

All fees and deposited funds are non-refundable and redeemable for site credit only.


 

At least one photo is recommended per listing.

Maximum number of picture files allowed for upload per listing is 100.

Allowed picture file types are: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .tif, .tiff

Maximum image file size: 10MB per image

Although not required, for best visual results uploaded photos should be oriented in the landscape (horizontal) position.

Images may be resized by our software for display purposes.


 

Q: Why don't I see the category I want to advertise in?

A: Our software shows categories with current listings in them. All available categories can be viewed here.

Q: How can I get my listings to show up in the Auction Calendar or the Home Page of DollarBattles?

A: This is a premium option that is available in most categories (for a small fee). The option is activated by checking the "Feature" option box at the bottom of the ad creation page.

Q: Can I schedule my ad to start at a later date?

A: No. All ads go live once payment is authorized (and/or if applicable approved by our site monitor).

Q: I'm posting an ad in the Auction category... What is the meaning of "Date" on the listing creation form?

A: This is where you input the date that your auction, event or sale is being held (or starting). This is a valuable tool that allows your listing to be added to the DollarBattles Auction Calendar and searched by date.


 

Q: How do I add more images after my ad is live?

A: To add additional images after your listing is live the listing will have to be upgraded.

  • 1. While logged in, go to the member dashboard.
  • 2. Select: "My Active Listings".
  • 3. Select: "Manage This Listing".
  • 4. Select: "Upgrade This Listing" (green plus "+" sign).
  • 5. Add desired upgrade options (i.e. images).
  • 6. Edit listing. (Updated image upload credits/slots will be shown).

    • Q: How do I close my account?

    A: Contact us and a DollarBattles support representative will assist in closing your account.
